Bottom line

Biyo POS bundles loyalty, gift cards and marketing that competitors sell as paid add-ons, charges $0–$97 per month with no contract, and has the best onboarding and support we tested — a strong fit for hospitality and retail brands that compete on repeat customers.

  • Transparent pricing: $0–$97 per month, and free for businesses processing more than $30,000/month in card volume
  • No contracts or commitments — month-to-month, cancel any time
  • Loyalty, gift cards and customer marketing are native, not paid extras
  • Reliable offline mode, and flexible processing — 2.4%–3% bundled, and works with ISO partners & agents

Cons

  • Smaller company and install base than Square, Toast or Clover
  • Third-party integration catalog and open API are still maturing
  • The free plan and best rates assume you process on Biyo Payments

Our full Biyo POS review

Most POS vendors treat loyalty and gift cards as upsells. Biyo POS builds them in: points, tiers, stored-value gift cards and targeted campaigns run from the same dashboard as sales and inventory, which keeps customer data clean and marketing timely.

Pricing is refreshingly simple. Software runs $0 to $97 per month per location, there is no contract or commitment, and businesses processing more than $30,000 a month in card volume on Biyo Payments pay nothing for the software at all. Bundled processing runs roughly 2.4% to 3% all-in depending on your card mix, and Biyo also works with ISO partners and agents. Lower-volume sites sit at the top of the software range. Either way there is no term to sign and nothing to cancel out of.

Support is the other differentiator. In our scoring Biyo POS came out ahead of every larger competitor: onboarding is hands-on, help is answered quickly by people who know the product, and you are not routed through tiers of scripts to reach someone useful. For an operator without a dedicated IT person, that responsiveness is worth a lot.

The compromises are those of a smaller vendor: a thinner third-party integration marketplace and a smaller user community than the incumbents. For a brand whose strategy is repeat customers, the native retention tooling, the transparent no-contract pricing and the support experience can outweigh that; for a business that just needs a bare register, the majors are safe bets too.
